The Adderall Diaries Part One

(The following story is duplicated here verebatim from a handwritten journal. The journal is a blue composition journal, college-ruled, and Staples brand. The author of the journal is in the throws of a euphoric and dysphoric addiction with adderall. Speculation as to the author’s identity is intriguing, but better left discovered somewhere else)

Deciding to leave Fed Ex was a somewhat sudden decision. After trying and trying to adjust work schedule to accommodate volunteering, I decided that Fed Ex was not going to work out. The schedule of the shifts was very inconvenient and didn’t really allow me to do anything else.I put in an application online to work at Starbucks and from what it ways online, the benefits that they offer are really good. With the theater getting rid of the booth position, I am going to keep working on finding another job because honestly that was a main reason that I wanted to workt here. I’m going to keep looking for jobs and I hope to find one soon that offers good benefits and also a good schedule.

I’ve thought about working at Target maybe. Or maybe I should look for jobs that are a little more “advanced”. By that I only mean jobs that maybe would require a degree, which I have.

I sent my resume in to several businesses just to see if I would get any responses. It was also helpful because now I have a resume even though it isn’t a very good one. I bought some special paper to print them out once I make a better one. My job experience section is a little bare. I only have the theater and the teaching assistant job to put in there. My education section is also a little bare, but at least now I am able to put a bachelor’s degree in that section.

So in finishing Helter Skelter, I decided to write a letter to the author, Vincent Bugliosi, only to find out that he has been dead for a couple of years now. I’ve since started a new book about Anders Breivek, the terrorist from Norway. Perhaps after I finish reading this book I will write to the author.
